Our Staff

The staff at Warren Cemetery consists of professionally licensed personnel as well as non-licensed personnel. Many of these staff members are industry experts and have a strong record of achievement in their field. Although job responsibilities vary, each and every staff member is dedicated to end of life planning, celebrating life, preserving memories, and providing a dignified final resting place that provides you with peace of mind.

Bill Jaehnig

Bill Jaehnig

Funeral Home Manager / Embalmer / Funeral Director

Bill Jaehnig is originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  He grew up in the Hancock area, after graduating high school he attended Michigan Technological University.  After MTU, Bill attended Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Des Plaines and Wheeling, IL. graduating in September of 1992. 

Bill returned to the Upper Peninsula to complete his apprenticeship.  After becoming fully licensed in Michigan as a Funeral Director and Embalmer, he moved to Saginaw, MI to manage a funeral home for 5 years.  In 2001 he became a Regional Manager with a large funeral home group and was responsible for locations in Illinois, Michigan, Indiana and Ohio.  He holds funeral directors licenses in Illinois and Michigan.

Bill is a member of the Gurnee Rotary, the Gurnee Chamber of Commerce, the Illinois Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association.

He has enjoyed be being back in Illinois and reconnecting with old friends.  In his limited free time, he enjoys traveling and golfing.

Michele Mason

Michele Mason

Family Service Counselor / Pre-Arrangement Counselor

Michele was born in a small town in Indiana to Richard and Linda Boll.  Her father worked for Firestone Tire and was a Vietnam Vet.  She was brought up with true family values.  Hard work, devotion to family and a respect for others are among her greatest assets.

She moved to Florida in the mid 1980’s and raised her family.  Michele also received her Phlebotomy degree.  She has one daughter, Amber, and now two beautiful grandsons, Aiden and John.

Michele came to Warren Funeral Home and Cemetery with over 30 years of experience in Customer Service.  She also has over 8 years of experience as a Family Service Counselor for End of Life Planning.

She brings knowledge, compassion and devotion to her families she has serviced and will continue to service in the years to come.

Scott Breitung

Scott Breitung

Funeral Assistant

Scott is a Gurnee native, starting first grade at Woodland Grade School and proudly graduating from Warren High School with the Class of 69.  He married his wife Patricia (Golien) in 1983.  They have one son Michael who is married and living in Tampa, FL.   Scott worked for many years as an area electrician. 

When he isn't at the funeral home, he enjoys fishing and traveling the world.


Gregg Jorgensen

Gregg Jorgensen

Funeral Assistant/Audio Visual Technician

Gregg and with his wife Nancy have been a residents of Gurnee for over 35 years where they raised their two sons. Gregg’s father was a funeral director in Chicago, instilling in his children the values of compassion, reliability, integrity, and effective communication.

Gregg is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a degree in communications. In addition to his Funeral Director Assistant responsibilities he also provides tribute video services at the funeral home.

He is an active member of the community as a percussionist in the North Suburban Wind Ensemble, and a member of the Libertyville Running Club, as well as a former Boy Scout leader for 20 years.

In his spare time, Gregg enjoys traveling with his wife and friends, homebrewing, and home improvement projects.

Gregg is also currently enrolled at Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Wheeling.  He will graduate in March of 2020.
